Logan

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 2 years

Logan came to Triple A from our partner shelter Los Barrios, where he arrived as just a 9-month old baby boy in February 2025. Logan already had a very difficult start to life, he was rescued by a volunteer from being tied up with a chain, living in very poor conditions. The past is long behind him, and now more than a year later, Logan is still looking for his forever home. He is such a young promising dog, with so much potential to be the best friend for life, for his humans and family. He has also been in a foster home before, where he showed to be such a clever boy, eager to learn. Since he is very motivated for yummy food and snacks, and concentrates quickly it is easy to work with him. It is comfortable to be around Logan, and when walking with him in the nature, he is just so easy to be together with. Somehow he reads you very quickly, which direction you plan to go, like he feels the slightest movement of the leash or reads the direction of your feet. In the shelter stress, he is strong on the leash and pulls until he can get his energy out, however away from the shelter, his tempo calms down immediately, and you can hold his leash with one finger (figuratively speaking). During his time in foster care, Logan also showed that he can settle well into a home environment, sleeps peacefully through the night, and enjoys simple things in life like sunbathing in the garden and tipping toes in the pool. But sadly the shelter is not the place for all these things Logan would be perfect for, and he waits 23.5 hours every day in the kennel, to see a face of a volunteer for a little walk. Even though he has had a difficult start to his young life, he is still so cheerful and loves all humans he meets. He has also met and played with other dogs, both male & female, so he could potentially live together with another dog upon testing. He is very enthusiastic and active, so he could potentially either match with a well socialised friendly playful dog, or an adult, stable educator dog to show the boundaries. In the nature, when walking in the forest, Logan is listening to all the sounds - bird song, a branch cracking, a runner passing by somewhere in the distance - all the sounds he does not hear in the nature. As he seems to be a sensitive boy, then for the moment we are ideally looking for a home near the nature, a calm environment, to re-start his life outside the shelter. He is a dog with excellent potential, and would really thrive with a human who has dog experience and is interested in obedience/tricks training, and partnership with their dog. Logan's shoulder height is 55cm.

About Logan

What life with Logan looks like

Logan is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Triple A Marbella in Marbella.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Logan, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Logan?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Triple A Marbella handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Logan on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Logan if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Triple A Marbella will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Logan already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Logan isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Triple A Marbella early rather than rehoming privately; they know Logan and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
