Lola Lolilla

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Note: Although he is currently in foster care, his physical and/or mental condition requires him to remain there indefinitely, and any associated costs must be borne by the animal rescue association. Therefore, the only options are sponsorship or making nominal donations, if desired. Thank you for your invaluable help. Lola Lolilla was with a companion dog in a courtyard, where they lived day and night. They ate the leftovers they were given, like whole, unpeeled oranges, so when we brought him in, he didn't even know how to eat kibble... He missed his companion for several days and searched everywhere for him, but now he is integrated thanks to the wonderful work and care of his foster home and is ready to be adopted by someone whose grandparents' hearts will melt for him. He is a pleasure to walk, very affectionate, and goes out to the street super happy, sits to be petted, and walks on a leash. He has some health issues, but we think he can live a long time given his desire to do things. He doesn't see very well but defends himself perfectly and plays like a puppy.

About Lola Lolilla

What life with Lola Lolilla looks like

Lola Lolilla is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at NuevaVida Adopciones Madrid in Madrid.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lola Lolilla, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lola Lolilla?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. NuevaVida Adopciones Madrid handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lola Lolilla on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lola Lolilla if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — NuevaVida Adopciones Madrid will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lola Lolilla already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lola Lolilla isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with NuevaVida Adopciones Madrid early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lola Lolilla and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
