Adopt Lola

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Kitten · 4 months

Description My beautiful name Lola was given to me by my foster momma, whom I happen to really like. She took me and my siblings in after we were rescued. My cat momma lived with me and my sisters Lucia and Olivia2 in a supervised cat colony. The kind ladies who fed us noticed that our momma was no longer there. So they took us in and rescued us from the street. We were still so small, so thin, and in no good condition. Now we live together on a foster home, where we are recovering from the hard life on the street and growing up safely. At five months old, I am still a proper kitten. And as is typical for mini tigers, I am very playful and curious. My favorite thing to do is play with my siblings and explore everything new and unknown. But I am also very clingy, love to snuggle with my foster momma, and enjoy being petted extensively. I have a nerve damage in my neck. It probably came from a hit. A vet has examined it. It doesn’t seem to be serious, and therefore no operation is necessary. Sometimes I move my head a bit slower, but these are only brief moments. The vet says I can lead a completely normal life. I play like crazy and love to eat. I am simply doing well. The only thing I still lack is a real home with a playmate to play and snuggle with. Maybe you would like to give me such a cozy home and shower me with love and security? Then contact us quickly. The animal this description is for comes from an animal shelter that houses many animals. We are searching for a loving and safe home for these animals in their new home. The descriptions are brief because there simply isn’t time to provide detailed descriptions during our daily work of caring for all the animals. If you are interested, a detailed description can be requested by sending your questions directly to the provided address. We will try to answer them as soon as possible. Home Sought For Lola we are searching for a loving, understanding home. Our cats come to their new home neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and with an EU Pass, if their health and age allow it. Additionally, they are tested for FELV/FIV. We look forward to your contact.

About Lola

What life with Lola looks like

Lola is a very small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at Tierischgeholfen e.V. in Germany.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lola, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lola?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierischgeholfen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lola on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lola if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierischgeholfen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lola already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lola isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierischgeholfen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lola and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
