Podenco Lola – sanft, freundlich und bereit für ihr eigenes Zuhause Lola ist eine sehr liebe, sanfte und sensible Hündin. Fremden Menschen begegnet sie anfangs manchmal noch etwas vorsichtig und zurückhaltend, taut aber mit ein wenig Zeit und Geduld zunehmend auf und freut sich über Aufmerksamkeit und Zuwendung. Im Haus ist Lola angenehm ruhig, freundlich und unaufdringlich. Sie muss nicht ständig im Mittelpunkt stehen und kann sich auch gut zurücknehmen. Zu viele neue Eindrücke auf einmal können sie noch etwas verunsichern, weshalb ihr Menschen guttun, die ihr Ruhe vermitteln und ihr die Zeit geben, neue Situationen in ihrem eigenen Tempo kennenzulernen. Auch bei Hundebegegnungen ist Lola zunächst eher zurückhaltend, dabei aber stets freundlich. Hat sie alles in Ruhe erkundet und fühlt sich sicher, zeigt sie durchaus ihre verspielte Seite. In unbekannten oder für sie schwierigen Situationen orientiert sich Lola gerne an ihrem Menschen. Ein souveräner Ersthund könnte ihr dabei zusätzliche Sicherheit geben, ist aber keineswegs Voraussetzung. Ebenso gut können wir uns Lola bei Menschen vorstellen, die viel Zeit für sie haben und ihr mit Ruhe und Geduld begegnen. Schön wäre ein Zuhause, in dem sie nicht regelmäßig viele Stunden alleine bleiben müsste. Spaziergänge liebt Lola sehr. Straßenverkehr kennt sie und meistert ihn problemlos. Draußen ist sie eine begeisterte Schnüfflerin und bringt einen für Podencos typischen Jagdtrieb mit. Katzen und andere Kleintiere sollten daher nicht in ihrem neuen Zuhause leben. Kinder können wir uns vorstellen, wenn sie bereits etwas älter sind und einen respektvollen Umgang mit Hunden kennen. Für Lola wünschen wir uns ein ruhiges, liebevolles und verständnisvolles Zuhause bei Menschen, die ihr die nötige Zeit zum Ankommen geben. Dann wird aus der anfangs vielleicht noch etwas vorsichtigen Lola ganz bestimmt eine Hündin, die immer mehr von ihrer fröhlichen und liebenswerten Seite zeigt. Lola sucht keine Menschen, die viel von ihr verlangen, sondern Menschen, bei denen sie einfach ankommen und dazugehören darf.
