Bemutatjuk egyesületünk legújabb védencét, aki mostantól egy új élet küszöbén áll! A chip alapján Lola névre hallgat, 5 éves, és egykor egy túrkevei gazdája volt – de szerencsére adatok nem kapcsolódnak hozzá. Törökszentmiklós utcáin bolyongott a hajnali hidegben, és sokan egyszerűen elsétáltak mellette, mintha ott sem lenne. Végül valaki lefotózta, és ez a kép indította el a segítő lavinát. Egy állatbarát autóba ült, és a főút szélén tanácstalanul álldogáló kutyát biztonságba helyezte. Addigra már este volt… Nem tudjuk, mióta volt az utcán, és mennyi időbe telt, mire egyáltalán valaki észrevette. Azért tűnt ilyen nyugodtnak és bizonytalannak, mert alig látott: mindkét szemén hatalmas sérülések voltak. Hogy mi okozta? Rejtély… Talán több kutya közé keveredett, és harc közben sérült meg, de az is lehet, hogy szándékosan bántották. Az alhasi részén egy hatalmas sérv is éktelenkedett, ami még a mozgásában is akadályozta – nem friss sérülés volt, hiszen tele volt régi hegekkel, ahogy folyamatosan ütődött a földhöz. Sokan ilyenkor a gazdát keresnék, de milyen gazdát? Azt, aki mindennap így nézett rá, és ezt a látványt természetesnek vette? Amikor megmentettük, szívszorító volt látni, milyen állapotban került hozzánk: szívférgesség, hatalmas sérv, bolhák, kullancsok, fülrüh, súlyos szemproblémák… De mi nem hátráltunk meg! És most itt van Lola – Gömbike, aki végre esélyt kapott egy boldogabb életre! A szívféreg elleni kezelése elkezdődött, és Gömbike jól viseli a megpróbáltatásokat. A szervezetét vitaminokkal és immunerősítőkkel erősítjük, hogy később a sérvét megműthessük, és az ivartalanítása is gond nélkül megtörténhessen. Szemét vérszérummal kezeljük, hogy visszanyerhesse látása egy részét – csodásan halad, a fekélyek szépen gyógyulnak.
