Loukoumas is een jonge reu, die nu 43 cm groot is en ongeveer 20 kg weegt. Loukoumas werd als jonge puppy gevonden terwijl hij ronddwaalde op een weg in een dorp in de buurt van Ioannina. Een plaatselijke vrouw nam hem in huis om hem te beschermen, en hij woonde bij haar gezin, waaronder een kind en het hondje van het gezin. Helaas kon het gezin hem niet langer houden nadat de vrouw zwanger werd, en kwam Loukoumas uiteindelijk terecht in de zorg van een particulier opvangcentrum. Loukoumas is een lieve, rustige en evenwichtige jonge reu. Hij leeft samen met andere honden en kan goed met zijn soortgenoten omgaan. Hij vindt het leuk om met zijn hondenvrienden te spelen en te rennen en vermijdt over het algemeen conflicten. Hij kan bijzonder goed overweg met kleine en middelgrote honden. Hij is erg mensgericht en vindt het heerlijk om geaaid te worden en aandacht te krijgen. Hij houdt van knuffels, mag worden opgepakt en zit zelfs graag op schoot bij een mens. Hij vindt het ook niet erg om vastgehouden te worden. Hoewel hij aanhankelijk is, stelt hij geen buitensporige eisen en heeft hij een aangenaam evenwichtig karakter. Loukoumas heeft licht gebogen voorpoten. Daarom moet zijn toekomstige gezin ervoor zorgen dat hij op een gezond gewicht blijft en voldoende, afwisselende beweging krijgt, zonder zijn gewrichten te zwaar te belasten. Loukoumas is behoorlijk gegroeid sinds hij voor het eerst in opvang kwam, maar zijn lieve, zachtaardige karakter is niet veranderd. Hij is nu ongeveer een jaar oud en meer dan klaar om het asielleven achter zich te laten en eindelijk een liefdevol, definitief gezin voor zichzelf te vinden. 🐾❤️ Al onze dieren worden gecontroleerd door een erkende dierenarts voordat ze naar België reizen.
