🆘LOULOU – OPERATION DOYEN🆘

Male · Senior · 11 years

Arrived on February 24, 2022, the handsome Loulou is up for adoption! He is at the shelter following the death of his owner. Left alone and tied at the bottom of the garden, Loulou did not have a very happy life. Upon arrival, Loulou was very wary and took time to trust. Having to learn everything from scratch, including walking on a leash, etc. Today, he is a gentle dog, jovial, and always ready for a walk (he doesn't pull on the leash). Loulou is a sensitive dog who won't appreciate constraints; we will therefore avoid cohabitation with young children. If his future family already has one or more other dogs of the same species, a meeting will have to take place to evaluate compatibility. However, no cohabitation is possible with our feline friends. Loulou desperately awaits the happiness of a gentle and loving family. So if his story touched you, come meet him and give him a chance; he will be very grateful! To encourage his adoption, know that Loulou benefits from the Doyen operation of 30 Million Friends; in other words, for the adoption of a dog 10 years or older, the 30 Million Friends Foundation commits to covering up to 1,000 euros in veterinary fees – upon presentation of invoices (excluding euthanasia).

About 🆘LOULOU – OPERATION DOYEN🆘

What life with 🆘LOULOU – OPERATION DOYEN🆘 looks like

🆘LOULOU – OPERATION DOYEN🆘 is a medium-sized senior dog waiting at SPA 65 Tarbes in Tarbes.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

Frequently asked

Adopting 🆘LOULOU – OPERATION DOYEN🆘, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about 🆘LOULOU – OPERATION DOYEN🆘?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SPA 65 Tarbes handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw 🆘LOULOU – OPERATION DOYEN🆘 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt 🆘LOULOU – OPERATION DOYEN🆘 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SPA 65 Tarbes will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is 🆘LOULOU – OPERATION DOYEN🆘 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if 🆘LOULOU – OPERATION DOYEN🆘 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SPA 65 Tarbes early rather than rehoming privately; they know 🆘LOULOU – OPERATION DOYEN🆘 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
