Luciano

Male · Adult · 4 years

Description Luciano is a cat that everyone wants to have. He is extroverted, loves the company of people and cuddles on the sofa. His story: when he appeared in a feral colony he was not social, so we spayed him and released him as another community cat, but gradually he began to trust everything around him. So much so that he was attacked several times by a stray dog. The last time almost cost him his life, so we rescued him... he could no longer stay there risking his life. After the rescue, during his visit to his favorite veterinarian, he let them take blood and vaccinate without even flinching, and even showed interest in the treats offered, but he tested positive for FIV. It seems he fought not only with the dog. The truth is, for us it's not a big deal, we know perfectly well that it's nothing, he just has antibodies because he was in contact with the feline immunodeficiency virus which itself isn't significant if he lives in a home without too much stress and good nutrition, but people have a lot of rejection when it comes to adopting. We don't understand why. Maybe lack of information. So nothing. He is up for adoption for the informed. A great cat, friendly with all cats and especially with people. He loves cuddles on the sofa. Not very playful. If you want more information, contact us!

Bastante tranquilo, equilibrio y agradecido. Si te apetece más información, contactanos! WhatsApp: 680997198

About Luciano

What life with Luciano looks like

Luciano is a adult cat waiting at CES Sant Feliu (adoptaungatito.es) in Spain.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Luciano, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Luciano?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. CES Sant Feliu (adoptaungatito.es) handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Luciano on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Luciano if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — CES Sant Feliu (adoptaungatito.es) will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Luciano already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Luciano isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with CES Sant Feliu (adoptaungatito.es) early rather than rehoming privately; they know Luciano and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (CA). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
