Lucky (with his brother Hardy) is still waiting for someone to fall in love with his beauty and personality! He is a healthy, friendly, curious, and obedient cat! He gets along very well with other cats in the foster home; and he is inseparable from his brother Hardy. 04.07.2025 New photos. The brothers Lucky and Hardy are still waiting for someone to see how beautiful they are and adopt them. They have been in a foster home with more cats in a small space for over 2 years and deserve a family, a house where they can live fully happy. 02.01.2025 New photos. Joint adoption with Hardy. LUCKY with his brother HARDY were rescued as babies in a parking lot with a lot of traffic where they were in great danger. They are inseparable siblings: they sleep together, eat together, groom each other, share toys and mischief. They are large, healthy, active cats. Docile and very good character. LUCKY is more reckless and crazy and his brother HARDY is a sweet cat. Since their rescue they have lived in the foster home and need a JOINT ADOPTION, a house definitively where they will be loved and cared for as they deserve.

About Lucky

What life with Lucky looks like

Lucky is a young adult european shorthair cat waiting at Sálvanos Protectora in Spain.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lucky, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lucky?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Sálvanos Protectora handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lucky on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lucky if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Sálvanos Protectora will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lucky already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lucky isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Sálvanos Protectora early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lucky and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
