Meet Lucky, a bright and affectionate 5-year-old Patterdale Terrier who’s ready for her next chapter. She is based at our Old Windsor Centre. She’s enjoyed some fuss when she gets to know you, she is very motivated by food treats are her favourite thing. Lucky has lived in a home before and has great basics already in place. She’s housetrained, used to a good routine, and knows how to settle well. As an active terrier, she loves her walks and exploring the world around her, bringing plenty of enthusiasm and charm wherever she goes. In her history she got a bit overwhelmed by children preferring a quiet household. She is a little hesitant around handling, especially when visiting the vets. Owners that can support her and give her some confidence to make friends and make it a more positive place for her. Moving to a new home will be another big change for her, so she’ll need patient adopters who can give her time to settle and let her personality shine at her own pace. With gentle guidance, structure, and lots of love Lucky will grow into a loyal, joyful companion and could easily become your new best friend.
