adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Luli has found a home! Her story: Luli – the uncomplicated magic mouse wants to become part of your family! The two friends Luli and Anahita love each other – and they love family life! The two were found together by a heartwarming family and temporarily taken in. So they already know what life in the house is like! The two friends are friendly with other dogs, like cats, and love people, whether big or small. Luli is a dream for every family! Uncomplicated and compatible with all, young and mature, and always up for an adventure, in hand size, so that even children (who know careful handling with dogs) can have a lot of fun with the open female dog. The fawn-nosed fur is open to all adventures and always friendly, and she has also enjoyed basic training – can she explore the world with you? Of course, the big move will also be a bit of a challenge for the lively Luli and will require some time and patience – but her new family can also make use of the help of dog trainers and dog schools with experience in working with shelter dogs, who can further strengthen the dog-human bond through positive support. But we are sure that Luli will also adapt quickly to her new home and spread lots of joy and love there! The greatest wish of Luli and Anahita and their foster family is that they can stay together – will someone make the Christmas miracle happen? Luli can also be rehomed individually. Has Luli or the two friends already put a smile on your face and snuggled into your heart? If Luli can enrich your family with all her love and liveliness, please contact us via the website. Luli is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea-treated. She is currently being cared for by Patrion Irina, who gave her the name and thus an identity. A big thank you also goes to Ines B., who has taken on a monthly paternity for Luli. As of: 04.12.

About Luli

What life with Luli looks like

Luli is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Luli, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Luli?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Luli on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Luli if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Luli already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Luli isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Luli and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
