Luna die 6. ist vermittelt

Unknown · Adult · 6 years

Luna the 6th is a spayed female Dalmatian dog born on 10.10.2020. Update 18.03.2026: Luna is a great dog and is slowly understanding things too :-) Update 23.12.2025: Luna also wanted to spend Christmas with her new family and they with her, and so it should happen. Luna has settled into her foster home without any problems. She still has skin problems, which are being addressed. Update 23.11.2025: Luna has been moved to a foster home with an option for adoption. 08.11.2025: Luna is described by her owners as a friendly but also reserved female dog. She is urgently in need of a new home due to her litter and the lack of time, as well as the unsuitable living conditions. Her owners described her: She is a friendly, mellow, and playful dog and is never aggressive towards people. She is very sensitive and, accordingly, initially reserved towards strangers. Due to our family situation with two young children, however, problems keep arising, which is why, after careful consideration, we have decided to find Luna a suitable home without young children, where she can also find peace. She is increasingly reacting stressed and insecure, which is shown in very frequent "alarm barking" at the slightest noise at home, an increasing intolerance towards other dogs, as well as general restlessness. The most problematic for us is that she has already given warning signals (growling, snapping in the air) towards the children when they got too close to her. Luna is very active and loves long walks, and one can jog with her without any problems. She can also ride in the car and masters the basic commands, but her lead walking is still in need of improvement. During thunderstorms and on New Year's Eve, she is afraid and seeks the proximity of her people. Walking with her during these times is challenging.

Frequently asked

Adopting Luna die 6. ist vermittelt, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Luna die 6. ist vermittelt?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SOS-Dalmatinerrettung e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Luna die 6. ist vermittelt on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Luna die 6. ist vermittelt if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SOS-Dalmatinerrettung e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Luna die 6. ist vermittelt already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Luna die 6. ist vermittelt isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SOS-Dalmatinerrettung e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Luna die 6. ist vermittelt and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
