Lulyak is a male around 3 years old from shelter "Gorni Bogrov," approximately 60 cm at the withers in size. He strongly pulls on the leash, has difficulty stopping and changing direction. He definitely needs more exercise than he currently receives, as after some time following leaving the kennel, the pulling slightly starts to decrease. Around other dogs, he is calm. He moves away with a relaxed body, without directly pulling towards them and frustrating them. After sniffing noses, he easily moves on to the next points in the chain of acquaintances and thus does not cause a bad or unacceptable reaction from the other dog. Nevertheless, it is good to keep in mind that every dog has its preferences. If the opposite dog does not know how to interpret them regarding Lulyak's behavior, it will be the responsibility of the adopters to provide him with adequate space. Otherwise, he will have to react unacceptably against the unreasonable behavior of the opposite dog. Lulyak does not have many skills indoors. Initially, this environment shocks him and to a large extent makes him close off from human communication, as he starts to wander and turn around, and human attention cannot calm him down. He has good tolerance for touching his body in these situations that are disturbing for him, and he does not show signs of anxiety when pressed, pulled, or touched on the limbs. For his adequate rest and general reduction of his already high energy level, his future home should offer various enriching activities (snuffle mat, lick mat, Kong dried roots and bones) that stimulate his brain activity and allow him to rest properly. Future adopters should be well informed on how to train him to his boundaries/bed, so that rest in the designated places becomes preferable. In this way, they will help him adapt much more easily and structuredly to the home environment. This environment, in turn, will start helping him much faster in reducing his excitement, which the outside world causes in him. Lulyak loves to ride in a car and enters it by himself. Inside, he is calm, without reacting to stimuli outside of it. At this stage, he is extremely excited by new places and strongly pulls, in such a state it is difficult to communicate anything. Therefore, it is important to accumulate calming activities at home, so that this can reduce his overall excitement and start responding to signals outside. Lulyak needs more active adopters who will be able to rebuild his confidence in new things, and respond to his desire for movement, sharing different life adventures with him.
