She is quite submissive with other dogs (male and female), she loves to play once she gets to know the dog. She is so friendly with people, loves everyone she meets. She loves to cuddle and follows us around everywhere. When she was living free outside, she would just sleep outside of the front door and really just stayed there the whole time until we took her into our garden. In the morning, she’s always very excited to greet me and does jump up and bounce around quite a bit, she likes to play with toys. Once she is calm, she’s quite happy lying around in the sun. She’d be best suited to a young active family/couple. I think she would enjoy plenty of adventures and would be the kind of dog to take everywhere with you. She sleeps in a crate overnight and is very quiet during the night. Prefers dog company or human company: Both Walks on the lead: Yes, she learned very quickly how to walk on the lead. Very occasionally stops and doesn’t want to carry on but just needs a bit of encouragement. Tested with children: Yes, she can be a bit bouncy but is very friendly towards kids. Over 4 years old would be okay. Better if the kids are already used to dogs. Tested with men: Yes, no problem. Tested with cats: Yes, wants to play with cats, very friendly, if the cat swipes then she stays away. She lived outside with our cat for a while no problems at all. Sterilised: Yes (25.09.2026)

About Maggie – lovely young lady

What life with Maggie – lovely young lady looks like

Maggie – lovely young lady is an adult mixed breed cat waiting at Friends of the Strays of Greece.

Frequently asked

Adopting Maggie – lovely young lady, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Maggie – lovely young lady?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Friends of the Strays of Greece handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Maggie – lovely young lady on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Maggie – lovely young lady if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Friends of the Strays of Greece will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Maggie – lovely young lady already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Maggie – lovely young lady isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Friends of the Strays of Greece early rather than rehoming privately; they know Maggie – lovely young lady and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
