Magic has been at the refuge since he was just a puppy. He is a lovely boy with a gentle nature, but sadly his past experiences with people have not always been positive. Within his group, Magic can be a little reserved. Because of this, he doesn’t always show himself as the wonderful dog we know him to be. He tends to hang back at first, quietly observing rather than pushing himself forward for attention. The good news is that Magic has come on in leaps and bounds. With the support of our dog trainer, he is gaining confidence and slowly learning to trust. He is still a work in progress and would truly benefit from a kind, calm, and patient home where he can continue building his confidence and learn what it means to be part of a loving family. Magic is very social with other dogs and enjoys his walks. At heart, he is a sweet boy who simply needs someone to give him a chance, and the time to shine.
