Ihre Geschichte: Maisie ist eines von drei entzückenden Welpenmädchen und lebt gemeinsam mit ihren Schwestern Elli und Jolie sowie ihrer Mutter Peach. Nachdem die Besitzer von Peach verstorben waren, blieb sie mit ihren noch sehr jungen Welpen allein zurück. Da die Situation für die kleine Familie lebensbedrohlich war, wurden sie aufgenommen und in Sicherheit gebracht. Maisie besticht durch ihre dunklen Knopfaugen, mit denen sie aufmerksam ihre Umgebung beobachtet. Sie ist altersentsprechend verspielt, offen und sehr menschenbezogen. Neugierig erkundet sie ihre Umwelt und zeigt sich dabei fröhlich und unbeschwert. Die Mutter Peach misst etwa 40 cm Schulterhöhe, weshalb auch Maisie vermutlich eher klein bleiben wird. Der Vater der Welpen ist uns leider nicht bekannt. Ihr flauschiges Fell und ihr freundliches Wesen machen sie zu einem besonders liebenswerten Mädchen. Aktuell lebt Maisie mit ihrer Familie im Shelter in Fantanele. Dort ist sie vor Kälte und äußeren Gefahren geschützt, dennoch kann ein Shelter die Geborgenheit eines richtigen Zuhauses nicht ersetzen. Eine Ausreise wäre ab Ende Februar möglich. Im Moment ist Maisie ein fröhliches, süßes Hundekind, das sich nach Nähe und Sicherheit sehnt. Auch sie wird in einigen Monaten in die Pubertät kommen, eine Entwicklungsphase, die Geduld, liebevolle Konsequenz und Verständnis erfordert. Eine positiv arbeitende Hundeschule kann dabei helfen, Maisies Entwicklung zu fördern und eine stabile Bindung aufzubauen. Mit regelmäßigem Kontakt zu Artgenossen und vielen positiven Erfahrungen wird sie sich voraussichtlich zu einer ausgeglichenen und zuverlässigen Begleiterin entwickeln. Nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle kann Maisie geimpft, gechipt, entwurmt und mit einem EU-Heimtierausweis gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro in ihr neues Zuhause reisen.
