Majda 7 jaar

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Little Majda was found as a puppy on the streets of Bosnia. She had even more bad luck because the woman who supposedly rescued her has 50 dogs that are not well cared for. There is no money for medical care, no money for castrations, and very often no money for food. Majda is now with us and is well cared for. She is very uncertain and needs someone with another dog and a lot of patience. Hopefully, she still has some happy years ahead of her. Majda is very sweet, but afraid of the unknown. She can get along well with other dogs and cats. She was born in 2019 and is only 30 cm tall and 12 kg. Majda has been spayed, vaccinated, chipped, and dewormed. She can come to the Netherlands soon.

About Majda 7 jaar

What life with Majda 7 jaar looks like

Majda 7 jaar is a small adult mixed breed dog waiting at stichting Idemo in Netherlands.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇳🇱Adopting from Netherlands

Dutch shelters typically require a household assessment and an adoption contract. Animals are routinely sterilized, microchipped, and registered in the national pet database (NDG) before placement.

Frequently asked

Adopting Majda 7 jaar, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Majda 7 jaar?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. stichting Idemo handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Majda 7 jaar on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Majda 7 jaar if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — stichting Idemo will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Majda 7 jaar already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Majda 7 jaar isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with stichting Idemo early rather than rehoming privately; they know Majda 7 jaar and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
