adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Malika is a beautiful female puppy who is searching for a home where she will be loved and spoiled, and where she can recover from the hardships of her first months of life. For Malika lived alone on the streets and no one wanted her. But Malika had a stroke of luck, was rescued from the harsh life on the streets, and now waits at the Public Shelter in Baia Mare for loving adopters. The pretty puppy is a playful and typical puppy female dog. She loves to play and tumble, and she so wants to enjoy life. Malika has soft, black-and-white fur and she is a particularly beautiful and charming female dog, looking confidently into a better future with her black round eyes. Malika is expected to grow into a medium to large female dog. Of course, at her young age, she has no experience with life as a house dog and has never heard of house training or leash manners. She is just at the beginning of her life and has a lot to learn. In a few months, Malika will enter puberty, which will bring everything she has learned so far into question. But with a loving and consistent training style, her development into a well-mannered and confident young female dog can be supported. We are very happy that the little Malika has developed so well, and we now wish for adopters who will take her in with love and patience, give her a family connection, a warm dog bed, beautiful walks, and plenty of contact with fellow animals. After the adjustment period, we would recommend a visit to a positively working dog training class, where Malika can train and make positive experiences together with her new family. Malikas build and fur color suggest that she might be a herding dog mix. Therefore, her future people should familiarize themselves with the typical characteristics of these dog breeds. Have you fallen in love with our little princess? Then contact us. Also, we would be very happy if Malika could make her first steps in a life as a house and family dog in a foster home. A special thank you goes to the namesake Sunny W., who chose the name for our pretty Malika. As of 11.01. This animal is vaccinated. This animal is microchipped.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen!

About Malika

What life with Malika looks like

Malika is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Malika, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Malika?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Malika on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Malika if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Malika already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Malika isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Malika and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
