Mallory’s leven begon met een moeilijke start. Ze was nog maar drie weken oud toen haar zwerfmoeder verdween en haar achterliet. Gelukkig werd ze op tijd gered en is ze inmiddels uitgegroeid tot een slimme, zelfstandige jonge dame met een grote persoonlijkheid en een nog grotere eetlust. Mallory is zelfverzekerd en nieuwsgierig. Ze is niet overdreven aanhankelijk en kan prima alleen zijn terwijl haar mens weg is, zolang ze een gezellig hoekje, een paar speeltjes en iets om op te snacken heeft. Ze geniet van aandacht, maar altijd op haar eigen voorwaarden. Zodra ze besluit naar je toe te komen, zal ze je geduld rijkelijk belonen met haar zachte aanwezigheid. Haar grootste passie is eten. Mallory is er dol op, vooral op rauw vlees. Ze raakt er zo enthousiast van dat het hanteren van vlees in haar bijzijn soms wat uitdagend kan zijn—die enthousiaste tandjes maken geen onderscheid tussen een stukje vlees en je vingers. Haar toekomstige familie moet daarom voorzichtig zijn bij het geven van eten en traktaties. Ze houdt van het gezelschap van andere katten, maar waardeert ook haar zelfstandigheid.
