Malte, the treat as a first step Malte arrived discreetly, as she is today. She is a little cat who observes a lot, always from a distance, never really opening up. When someone passes by her cage, they often see her settled in her bed, or perched on her litter box, watching without moving. She is there, attentive, but cautious. The human remains something difficult for her. Getting too close too quickly doesn't work: Malte prefers to keep her distance, and may hiss to protect herself. It's not aggression, just fear. And yet, there are those little moments. When the treats arrive, the glutton takes over. She approaches a bit more, hesitates, observes, then dares. It is in these moments that the bond begins, slowly. Nothing is quick with Malte, everything is done in steps. But she shows that she is capable of evolving, provided that she is given time. She will need a very calm home, with someone patient, ready to move forward slowly with her, without rushing.

Ce n’est pas de l’agressivité, juste de la peur. Et pourtant, il y a ces petits moments. Quand les friandises arrivent, la gourmande prend le dessus. Elle s’approche un peu plus, hésite, observe, puis ose. C’est dans ces instants-là que le lien commence, doucement. Rien n’est rapide avec Malte, tout se fait par étapes.
