She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested for Mediterranean diseases. The foster home reports: When Mancha first arrived with us, she would jump over tables and benches—nothing was safe from her. Yet within a very short time, she learned that not everything is meant for her. She accepts corrections always in a friendly manner and rarely tries something a second time. Meanwhile, Mancha has also started to calm down outside her crate. She’s even learned that she’s only allowed to leave the crate when invited. She quickly understood that the kitchen in our house is off-limits for dogs as well. Mancha’s social behavior toward other dogs is excellent. She quickly realized that her canine housemates don’t always want to play with her. She shows little interest in encounters outside the home—even if provoked, she remains calm. In a rural setting, Mancha is comfortable and confident; her behavior in the city has not yet been tested. We’re currently working intensively on basic commands and leash manners. Mancha is an eager learner. Since Mancha has a strong hunting instinct typical of her breed, there should be neither cats nor small animals in her new home. Children should also already be teenagers, as younger children might run into her accidentally. Mancha would love active people. She’d certainly make a great jogging companion. Mancha would also enjoy having a hobby involving nose work. However, she doesn’t need a daily structured program. Cuddles should also be part of her daily routine. Of course, Mancha would be happy to have dog friends, but it’s not essential. New video on Facebook.

What life with Mancha, 68519 Viernheim looks like

Frequently asked

Adopting Mancha, 68519 Viernheim, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mancha, 68519 Viernheim?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierhilfe Costa del Almeria e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mancha, 68519 Viernheim on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mancha, 68519 Viernheim if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierhilfe Costa del Almeria e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Mancha, 68519 Viernheim already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mancha, 68519 Viernheim isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierhilfe Costa del Almeria e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mancha, 68519 Viernheim and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
