Her story: Maple is a cheerful, lively puppy that currently lives in the shelter in Bistrița with other puppies. Together with her brother Chip, she came from a foster home, but since Chip stayed very small, the siblings were separated to do justice to both. Maple now lives in a puppy group and shows every day how social, playful, and lively she is. She greets people friendly and openly, loves playing with her fellow animals, and is always in the middle of the action when there's something to discover. Maple is a typical puppy: curious, playful, sometimes a bit clumsy, and full of energy. Cats have not been tested yet, but given her young age, she brings the best prerequisites to learn about new animals and situations. With a current shoulder height of about 33 centimeters, Maple is expected to grow to be small to medium-sized when fully grown. She is a robust, energetic female puppy that will need both physical and mental stimulation. At the same time, she is still a real puppy that is looking for security, guidance, and orientation. Since Maple has only known the shelter so far, much will be new to her in her new home. She will need to learn to walk on a leash, be housebroken, be alone, and deal with everyday noises and fixed routines step by step. With patience, loving consistency, and positive reinforcement, she will master these tasks well. A positively trained dog class can be a valuable support and help Maple to build self-confidence and attachment. Also, puberty still lies ahead for Maple. In this phase, she will become braver, more independent, and will surely test boundaries or seemingly forget what she has learned. Ihre Geschichte: Maple ist ein fröhliches, aufgewecktes Hundekind, das derzeit im Shelter in Bistrița gemeinsam mit anderen Welpen lebt. Zusammen mit ihrem Bruder Chip kam sie aus einer Pflegestelle, doch da Chip sehr klein blieb, wurden die Geschwister getrennt, um beiden gerecht zu werden. Maple lebt nun in einer Welpengruppe und zeigt dort täglich, wie sozial, verspielt und lebensfroh sie ist. Sie begegnet Menschen freundlich und offen, liebt das Spiel mit ihren Artgenossen und ist immer mittendrin, wenn es etwas zu entdecken gibt. Maple ist ein typischer Welpe: neugierig, verspielt, manchmal ein bisschen tollpatschig und voller Tatendrang. Katzen konnte man bisher nicht testen, doch aufgrund ihres jungen Alters bringt sie beste Voraussetzungen mit, neue Tiere und Situationen kennenzulernen. Mit aktuell etwa 33 Zentimetern Schulterhöhe wird Maple ausgewachsen vermutlich klein bis mittelgroß sein. Sie ist ein robustes, bewegungsfreudiges Hundemädchen, das sowohl körperliche als auch geistige Auslastung brauchen wird. Gleichzeitig ist sie noch ein echtes Hundekind, das Sicherheit, Führung und Orientierung sucht. Da Maple bisher nur das Shelter kennt, wird in ihrem neuen Zuhause vieles neu für sie sein. Leine laufen, Stubenreinheit, alleine bleiben, Alltagsgeräusche und feste Routinen muss sie Schritt für Schritt lernen. Mit Geduld, liebevoller Konsequenz und positiver Verstärkung wird sie diese Aufgaben gut meistern. Eine positiv arbeitende Hundeschule kann dabei eine wertvolle Unterstützung sein und Maple helfen, Selbstvertrauen und Bindung aufzubauen. Auch die Pubertät steht Maple noch bevor. In dieser Phase wird sie mutiger, selbstständiger und wird sicher auch mal Grenzen austesten oder bereits Gelerntes scheinbar vergessen. Das gehört dazu und ist kein Rückschritt, sondern Teil ihrer Entwicklung.
