Maple Seeks Her Home Maple is approximately 7 months old (born in August 2025) and hails from Romania, like many of our sheltered animals. No one knows her exact origins. She was reported by attentive people and secured by animal protectors, despite the fact that the spaces were already nearly exhausted. Somehow, they always manage to find a way to give a chance to such souls. Currently, Maple is very lucky: she lives with Dana in a house in the Romanian city of Botoșani, together with a small pack. There, she enjoys a lot of human contact, receives attention, and grows up in a social environment. One can see this – she is friendly, social, and open, but sometimes needs a moment to adjust to new situations. With a little patience and loving guidance, she will learn quickly. Maple is currently about 33 cm tall and is expected to reach an adult size of around 35 cm. She is thus a relatively small female dog that can fit into many living situations. She is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and has an EU pet passport. Maple is ready to travel and could soon travel to her own home. We wish very much that Maple finds her family soon. Dana’s place is only a temporary solution – in the long term, she would otherwise have to move into a kennel, which we would like to avoid at all costs. Who will give this young, gentle female dog a loving home and show her how beautiful a dog life can be? MAPLE will be rehomed by Tiernothilfe Casa Katharina e.V. – with home check and adoption contract The association, of course, is subject to §11 (Animal Protection Law).

Maple sucht ihr Zuhause Die kleine Maple ist etwa 7 Monate alt (geboren im August 2025) und stammt – wie so viele unserer Schützlinge – aus Rumänien. Ihre genaue Herkunft kennt niemand. Sie wurde von aufmerksamen Menschen gemeldet und von Tierschützern gesichert, obwohl die Plätze eigentlich längst erschöpft sind. Doch irgendwie wird immer noch zusammengerückt, um auch solchen Seelen eine Chance zu geben. Aktuell hat Maple großes Glück: Sie lebt bei Dana im Haus in der rumänischen Stadt Botoșani, gemeinsam mit einem kleinen Rudel. Dort genießt sie viel Kontakt zu Menschen, bekommt Ansprache und wächst in einem sozialen Umfeld auf. Das merkt man ihr auch an – sie ist freundlich, sozial und offen, braucht aber in neuen Situationen manchmal noch einen Moment, um sich zurechtzufinden. Mit etwas Geduld und liebevoller Führung wird sie das schnell lernen. Maple ist derzeit ca. 33 cm groß und wird voraussichtlich eine Endgröße von etwa 35 cm erreichen. Sie ist also eine eher kleine Hündin, die gut in viele Lebenssituationen passen kann. Sie ist vollständig geimpft, kastriert, gechipt und besitzt einen EU-Heimtierausweis. Maple ist ausreisebereit und könnte schon bald in ihr eigenes Zuhause reisen. Wir wünschen uns sehr, dass Maple zeitnah ihre Familie findet. Der Platz bei Dana ist nur eine Übergangslösung – langfristig müsste sie sonst in einen Zwinger umziehen, was wir ihr unbedingt ersparen möchten.
