Marcelle arrived at the shelter with her very elderly friend, following the death of her owner. Her widowed owner, who had never cared for goats, did not wish to keep them despite the advanced age of one of them. We know little about the past of Marcelle and the treatment she received during her life, but at the shelter, she is very fearful. The farther she is from people, the better she fares. She remains deeply bonded to her friend with whom she arrived.

Marcelle est arrivée au refuge avec son amie très âgée, suite au décès de sa propriétaire. Son veuf, qui ne s'était jamais occupé des chèvres, n'a pas souhaité les garder malgré l'âge très avancé de l'une d'elles. Nous connaissons peu du passé de Marcelle et du traitement qu'elle a reçu durant sa vie, mais au refuge, elle est très peureuse. Au plus loin elle se trouve des gens, au mieux elle se porte.
