Marco is a two-year-old (as of 05/2023) Terrier mix. His Bodeguero genes are unmistakable, but we can only guess where this handsome male dog got his long, elegant legs. Our gentle charmer has been in the care of our Spanish friends since October 2022. The little Wuslon had settled on a traffic island of a roundabout, was also fed by residents, but it never succeeded to catch the clever and lightning-fast dog. The experienced animal welfare workers of ArcoNatura were informed by concerned animal lovers, and with a few tricks and much patience, our friends managed to catch Marco and bring him to the animal shelter. For a Terrier, Marco is rather a quiet companion, although he gets along well with people and animals at ArcoNatura and is often motivated to play. When it comes to unknown bipeds, the friendly male dog is still somewhat reserved (which is often even an advantage in family life), but once Marco has developed trust in people, he is sociable, allows petting and can easily be put on a harness and leash. It is noticeable that our little explorer still lacks many experiences and unfortunately may have also learned to see humans not only as friends. But Marco is a brave, cheerful and funny companion who will surely soon become a real clown and favorite of the neighborhood with patience and a lot of humor. If you are ready to give this little Terrier head a home, even though Marco will certainly be shy at first and will need your help to find his place, we would be happy to hear from you.

Marco ist ein zwei Jahre alter (Stand 05/2023) Terrier-Mix. Unübersehbar sind seine Bodeguero-Gene, aber wir können nur raten, woher der hübsche Rüde seine langen, eleganten Beine hat. Unser zärtlicher Charmeur lebt seit Oktober 2022 in der Obhut unserer spanischen Freunde. Das kleine Wuslon hatte sich ausgerechnet auf der Verkehrsinsel eines Kreisverkehrs häuslich niedergelassen, wurde dort auch von Anwohnern gefüttert, aber es gelang nie, den cleveren und pfeilschnellen Hund zu sichern. Die erfahrenen Tierschützer der ArcoNatura wurden von besorgten Tierfreunden informiert, und mit ein paar Tricks und viel Geduld gelang es unseren Freunden, Marco zu sichern und ins Tierheim zu bringen. Für einen Terrier ist Marco eher ein ruhiger Genosse, obwohl er gut Freund mit Mensch und Tier in der ArcoNatura ist und sich auch immer wieder zum Spielen motivieren lässt. Unbekannten Zweibeinern gegenüber ist der freundliche Rüde immer noch etwas zurückhaltend (was aber im Alltag einer Familie oft sogar eher ein Vorteil ist), bei Menschen, zu denen er Vertrauen gefasst hat, ist Marco kontaktfreudig, lässt sich streicheln und ohne Probleme Geschirr und Leine anlegen. Man merkt, dass unserem kleinen Entdecker noch viele Erfahrungen fehlen und er wohl leider auch Menschen nicht nur als Freunde kennengelernt hat. Aber Marco ist ein tapferer, lebensfroher und lustiger Geselle, der mit Geduld und viel Humor sicher bald ein richtiger Clown und Liebling der Nachbarschaft wird. Wenn Sie bereit sind, dem kleinen Terrierköpfchen ein Zuhause zu schenken, obwohl Marco am Anfang sicher schüchtern sein wird und Ihre Hilfe brauchen wird, um seinen Platz zu finden, dann freuen wir uns, von Ihnen zu hören.
