Still at the animal shelter in Spain. Margarito—small, unique, and simply lovable. Margarito is a truly special dog. With his long body and short, slightly crooked legs, he somewhat resembles a dachshund forging his own path. His extraordinary appearance makes him unmistakable—and although his legs look a bit different from most dogs’, Margarito can walk, run, and fully enjoy life without any problems. In terms of character, Margarito is a real treasure. He’s friendly, easygoing, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Whether at the official animal shelter or later at our partner animal shelter, he lived seamlessly alongside several fellow dogs. He also walks beautifully on the leash already and accompanies his people calmly on walks. Margarito’s story began at the official animal shelter. When the director of our partner animal shelter first met him there, she would have loved to take him home right away. However, since he was already reserved, she had to leave him behind with a heavy heart. Just two days after his adoption, though, came the call: Margarito had been brought back because dogs weren’t allowed in his new owner’s apartment. That same day, he was allowed to move into our partner animal shelter. We wish for Margarito a loving home where he can simply be himself. Thanks to his easygoing nature, he’s also perfect for people without prior dog experience. Mit seinem langen Körper und den kurzen, leicht krummen Beinchen erinnert er ein wenig an einen Dackel auf eigenen Wegen. Seine aussergewöhnliche Erscheinung macht ihn unverwechselbar – und obwohl seine Beinchen etwas anders aussehen als bei den meisten Hunden, kann Margarito problemlos laufen, rennen und das Leben in vollen Zügen geniessen. Charakterlich ist Margarito ein echter Schatz. Er ist freundlich, unkompliziert und versteht sich bestens mit anderen Hunden. Sowohl im amtlichen Tierheim als auch später in unserem Partnertierheim lebte er problemlos mit mehreren Artgenossen zusammen. Auch an der Leine läuft er bereits sehr schön und begleitet seine Menschen entspannt auf Spaziergängen. Margaritos Geschichte begann im amtlichen Tierheim. Als die Leiterin unseres Partnertierheims ihn dort kennenlernte, hätte sie ihn am liebsten sofort mitgenommen. Da er jedoch bereits reserviert war, musste sie ihn schweren Herzens zurücklassen. Nur zwei Tage nach seiner Adoption kam jedoch der Anruf: Margarito wurde zurückgebracht, weil Hunde in der Wohnung seines neuen Besitzers nicht erlaubt waren. Noch am selben Tag durfte er in unser Partnertierheim umziehen. Für Margarito wünschen wir uns ein liebevolles Zuhause, in dem er einfach Hund sein darf. Dank seines unkomplizierten Wesens eignet er sich auch für Menschen ohne Hundeerfahrung. Wer sich für diesen charmanten kleinen Kerl entscheidet, gewinnt einen treuen Begleiter, der mit seinem liebenswerten Charakter und seinem einzigartigen Aussehen jeden Tag ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubert.
