adoption requirements adoption process Inquire about this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Inquire about this dog now! Six adorable, colorfully patterned puppy siblings, namely Motte, Maja, Snowy, Gänseblümchen and Alischa, are waiting at the Public Shelter in Baia Mare for a loving home. Six unwanted puppies who can be glad to be safe here. But we very much hope that they won't have to grow up behind bars and can be rehomed into a loving home as quickly as possible! The beautiful Marlo is one of them. He has cuddly white fur and a gorgeous gaze. Marlo is only about three months old. The little guy looks sweetly and modestly into our camera and will certainly grow into a beautiful, medium-sized male dog. Marlo is a cheerful little puppy who doesn't know much about the seriousness of life yet. He is friendly, open to everyone, and playfully typical for a puppy. Marlo loves to romp around with his siblings and is always up for playing and cuddling. We very much hope that the adorable puppy will settle in quickly in his new home, although of course he has no experience with life as a house dog and doesn't know much about house training or walking on a leash yet. But Marlo is a very bright little male dog and always interested in us humans. With lots of love, understanding, and positive reinforcement, he will hopefully quickly learn all the basics of puppy training. After the settling-in period, Marlo will enjoy attending positively-oriented dog training classes. In a few months, the little male dog will then enter adolescence, which may once again turn everything he has learned up to that point upside down. Rules will be questioned again during this phase of life, and boundaries will be tested anew. But with loving, consistent guidance, his adopters can support the little puppy's development into a well-behaved and confident young male dog. We are looking for animal-loving people who will take Marlo in lovingly and patiently, offering him family connection, a warm dog bed, wonderful walks, and – very important for a puppy – plenty of contact with fellow animals. We would also be very happy about a foster home for the cute white puppy. Have you fallen in love with the little rascal and would you like to adopt him? Then get in touch with us. After a positive But a loving foster home would also be very helpful for Marlo on the way to a species-appropriate dog life. Our thanks go to name patron Manon B., who gave sweet Marlo his name! As of: 03.05. This animal is vaccinated. This animal is microchipped.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Stand: 03.05.2026

About Marlo

What life with Marlo looks like

Marlo is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Marlo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Marlo?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Marlo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Marlo if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Marlo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Marlo isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Marlo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
