Marry came to us in Oelzschau from our Romanian partner animal shelter Smeura in June 2026. As the pretty mixed-breed dog arrived, the new situation was very intimidating for her. Unfamiliar noises, new routines, and strangers made her very unsure. But Marry shows us every day how much potential she has. She is a smart dog with a very good understanding. She quickly understands new routines and learns every day. It's nice to watch her slowly gain trust and develop step by step. Marry initially approaches strangers cautiously and skeptically. At the same time, you can quickly notice that she is generally interested in human contact and seeks closeness - she just doesn't always dare to allow it. With patience and calmness, she makes very fast progress here and begins to open up more and more. She can already enjoy the first caresses from familiar people. So far, Marry has never shown aggressive behavior, but reacts to uncertain situations with withdrawal. Marry currently lives with another female dog and shows herself to be more submissive in their cohabitation. She likes to orientate herself towards her companion and benefits from her security. A confident first dog could make it easier for Marry to start in a new home and give her additional orientation.

Marry kam im Juni 2026 aus unserem rumänischen Partnertierheim Smeura zu uns nach Oelzschau. Als die hübsche Mischlingshündin bei uns ankam, war die neue Situation für sie zunächst sehr beängstigend. Ungewohnte Geräusche, neue Abläufe und fremde Menschen verunsicherten sie sehr. Doch Marry zeigt uns jeden Tag, wie viel Potenzial in ihr steckt. Sie ist eine kluge Hündin mit einer sehr guten Auffassungsgabe. Neue Abläufe versteht sie schnell und sie lernt mit jedem Tag dazu. Es ist schön zu beobachten, wie sie langsam Vertrauen fasst und sich Schritt für Schritt weiterentwickelt. Fremden Menschen begegnet Marry zunächst vorsichtig und skeptisch. Gleichzeitig merkt man schnell, dass sie grundsätzlich Interesse an menschlichem Kontakt hat und die Nähe sucht – sie traut sich nur noch nicht immer, diese auch zuzulassen. Mit Geduld und Ruhe macht sie hier sehr schnelle Fortschritte und beginnt immer mehr, sich zu öffnen. Erste Streicheleinheiten von vertrauten Personen kann sie bereits genießen. Dabei hat Marry bisher niemals aggressives Verhalten gezeigt, sondern reagiert in für sie unsicheren Situationen mit Rückzug. Marry lebt aktuell mit einer anderen Hündin zusammen und zeigt sich im Zusammenleben eher devot. Sie orientiert sich gerne an ihrer Artgenossin und profitiert von deren Sicherheit.
