Found on: February 4, 2023. Found in: Balchik, Bulgaria Martin is about 11 years old. From the time he was a puppy, he lived in front of an apartment block. He received food regularly and even had his own little house. Over time he became the guardian of everyone who lived there: he watched over their cars, their children, and their dogs. He roamed freely, but he always came back. And so it went for 11 years. . . Martin's life, like that of all stray animals, is far from paradise. On the street they are under constant stress, chased, beaten, and pelted with stones. . . . Unfortunately, one day Martin bit a woman, whether with reason or without. . . . Martin's days of freedom came to an end. He had to be removed from the street. After 11 years of loyalty, everyone who cared for him threw up their hands: no one wanted to, or could, take him in. But Martin had one trump card: he is a friend of one of our volunteers, who advocated for him and would not let loyal Martin end up in a shelter or who knows where. That is how Grandpa Martin came to us. He went through very hard days and moods, but he is alive and well. Some days he grieves. Some days he runs and plays with the other puppies. But he is alive. It would be hard to find him a home, but if someone wishes, they can become his virtual adoptive sponsor, and we would be grateful. And miracles do happen, so perhaps someone will want to bring real happiness to Marti, our patriarch.

С времето станал пазач на всички живущи там, пазел колите им, децата им, кучетата им. Скитал свободно, но винаги се прибирал. И така 11 години. . . Живота на Мартин както и на всички бездомни въобще не е рай. На улицата са подложени на постоянен стрес, гонени, бити, замеряни. . . . За съжаление един ден Мартин с причина или без захапва една жена. . . . Дните на свобода за Мартин приключват. Трябва да бъде махнат от улицата. След 11 години вярност всички грижещи се за него вдигат ръце, никой не желае, не може да го прибере. Но Мартин има един коз, той е приятел на наш доброволец, който се застъпва за него и не позволява верния Мартин да попадне в приют или кой знае къде. Така Дядо Мартин попадна при нас. Премина през много тежки дни и настроения, но е жив и здрав. Има дни, в които тъгува. Има дни, в които бяга и играе с останалите кученца. Но е жив. Трудно бихме му намерили дом, но ако някой желае може да му стане виртуален осиновител, ще сме благодарни. Но пък и чудеса се случват, може би някой ще иска да даде истинско щастие за Марти, нашият патриарх.
