In our stray village in Mostar. Mary can travel to Germany on June 26, 2026, and is still searching for a suitable foster or permanent home. Specials: Mary is a house cat. Mary is one of the ten survivors. A delicate girl with bright, intelligent eyes, a fine face, and a look that goes straight to the heart. She seems to be observing the world very closely. Quiet, attentive, and with a wisdom that seems too large for such a young cat’s life. She belonged to the ten cats whose familiar world in Banja Luka suddenly shattered when their primary caregiver was taken from them in a tragic accident on the way home. For Mary, she was everyday, protection, food, voice, and home. A person who was there. And then there was suddenly silence. When our colleague learned of the tragedy, she offered her help. So, Mary could move into the stray village with the other cats. Still unsure, still not understanding why her old life had disappeared, but finally at a place where the future is possible. Mary has already experienced more than a little kitten should in her early days. As a baby, she was severely injured in her jaw. We unfortunately do not know what exactly happened then. The consequences lingered, her teeth caused problems and had to be extracted. After everything her little jaw had to endure, she initially only ate chicken breast and received her vitamin tablets daily. Now, fortunately, she has rediscovered a liking for wet food. This cat is to be kept indoors only.

In unserem Streunerdorf in Mostar. Mary kann am 26.06.2026 mit nach Deutschland reisen und sucht noch eine passende Pflege- oder Endstelle. Besonderheiten: Mary ist eine Wohnungskatze. Mary ist eine der zehn Hinterbliebenen. Ein zartes Mädchen mit hellen, klugen Augen, feinem Gesicht und einem Blick, der direkt ins Herz geht. Sie wirkt, als würde sie die Welt sehr genau betrachten. Still, aufmerksam und mit einer Weisheit, die für so ein junges Katzenleben eigentlich viel zu groß ist. Sie gehörte zu den zehn Katzen, deren vertraute Welt in Banja Luka plötzlich zerbrach, als ihre Bezugsperson auf dem Heimweg durch einen Unfall aus dem Leben gerissen wurde. Für Mary war sie Alltag, Schutz, Futter, Stimme und Zuhause. Ein Mensch, der da war. Und dann war da auf einmal Stille. Als unsere Kollegin von der Tragödie erfuhr, bot sie ihre Hilfe an. So konnte Mary mit den anderen Katzen ins Streunerdorf einziehen. Noch unsicher, noch ohne zu verstehen, warum ihr altes Leben verschwunden war, aber endlich wieder an einem Ort, an dem Zukunft möglich ist. Mary hat schon früh mehr erlebt, als ein kleines Katzenkind erleben sollte. Als Baby wurde sie stark am Kiefer verletzt. Was genau damals passiert ist, wissen wir leider nicht. Die Folgen begleiteten sie lange, ihre Zähne machten Probleme und mussten schließlich gezogen werden. Nach allem, was ihr kleiner Kiefer mitmachen musste, nahm sie zunächst nur Hühnerbrust an und bekam zusätzlich täglich ihre Vitamintabletten. Inzwischen hat sie zum Glück wieder Freude an Nassfutter gefunden.
