Her story: "Hope" and "Mercy" – both terms hide behind the sounding name Maryanne – and they fit so well, because it are exactly these words that motivate and drive us at the animal shelter every day to do our best to help our charges. Maryanne seems to have experienced horrors. We don't know, but her body language, gestures, and looks leave no other conclusion. Maryanne crouched in her little house constantly at first and lets no human approach her currently. All attempts to form tender bonds with her have failed so far. Maryanne has lost trust in people. Currently, she circles like a lone satellite in space – a state that saddens us and also feels a little hopeless. But we don't give up and want Maryanne to enjoy a beautiful life. Current photos from Bistrita give us hope and indicate that she at least becomes a little braver and is ready to give her environment a chance. Maryanne is still young at around one year – all orbits are open to her – if she is helped! That's why we are looking for a dog-experienced person for our Maryanne, because our shy mouse will need a lot of patience, empathy, and love to stretch her paws towards trust. The common path might bring some setbacks, but it is worth walking it with Maryanne to the end. Maryanne is unfortunately blind in one eye. Probably through a blow or external trauma to the eye. With her approximately 60 cm size, Maryanne is rather sturdy, her fur pattern is beautiful and unique. She should find new life in a rural environment. A small apartment or the hustle of a city are rather unsuitable. How our one-eyed pirate reacts to other dogs or cats, we cannot say at the moment. She will most likely have to learn the complete dog 1×1. We wish so much that Maryanne is led into a loving life very carefully and maybe someday walks through the day fearlessly and radiantly with you. Her suitcase is already packed. Maryanne brings her EU pet passport, is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas, and can be adopted after a positive match. She would also be very happy with a foster home. Ihre Geschichte: „Hoffnung“ und „Gnade“ – beide Begriffe verbergen sich hinter dem wohlklingenden Namen Maryanne – und sie passen so gut, denn es sind unter anderem genau diese Worte, die uns vom Tierschutz jeden Tag aufs Neue motivieren und antreiben, unseren Schützlingen nach Kräften zu helfen. Maryanne scheint Schreckliches erlebt zu haben. Wir wissen es nicht, doch ihre Körperhaltung, ihre Gesten und Blicke lassen keinen anderen Schluss zu. Maryanne kauerte anfangs permanent in ihrem Häuschen und lässt auch aktuelle keinen Menschen an sich heran. Alle Versuche, zarte Bande zu ihr zu knüpfen, schlugen bisher fehl. Maryanne hat das Vertrauen in die Menschen verloren. Aktuell kreist sie wie ein einsamer Satellit im All – ein Zustand, der uns traurig macht und auch ein wenig hoffnungslos. Doch wir verzweifeln nicht und möchten, dass Maryanne in den Genuss eines schönen Lebens kommt. Aktuelle Fotos aus Bistrita geben uns Zuversicht und deuten an, dass sie zumindest ein wenig mutiger wird und bereit ist, ihrem Umfeld eine Chance zu geben. Maryanne ist mit ca. einem Jahr noch jung – alle Umlaufbahnen stehen ihr offen – wenn man ihr hilft! Deshalb suchen wir für unsere Maryanne einen hunde-erfahrenen Lebensmensch, denn unsere verschüchterte Maus wird viel Geduld, Empathie und Liebe benötigen, um ihre Pfoten in Richtung Vertrauen auszustrecken. Der gemeinsame Weg wird vielleicht den ein oder anderen Rückschlag mit sich bringen, doch es lohnt sich, ihn bis zum Ende mit Maryanne zu gehen. Maryanne ist auf dem rechten Auge leider blind. Vermutlich durch einen Schlag oder ein äußeres Trauma am Auge. Mit ihren ca. 60 cm Größe ist Maryanne recht stattlich, ihre Fellzeichnung ist wunderschön und einzigartig. Sie sollte in einer ländlichen Umgebung zu neuem Lebensmut finden. Eine kleine Wohnung oder der Trubel einer Stadt sind eher ungeeignet. Wie unsere einäugige Piratin auf andere Hunde oder Katzen reagiert, können wir aktuell nicht sagen. Auch muss sie mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit das komplette Hunde-1×1 lernen. Wir wünschen uns so sehr, dass Maryanne ganz behutsam in ein liebesvolles Leben geführt wird und vielleicht irgendwann angstfrei und Freude strahlend mit dir durch den Tag tapst. Ihr Koffer ist schon gepackt. Maryanne bringt ihren EU-Haustierausweis mit, ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt, entfloht und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro ganz in Ruhe bei dir ankommen. Auch über eine Pflegestelle würde sich Maryanne sehr freuen. Danke Katrin, dass du Maryanne diesen schönen Namen und somit eine Identität und die Chance auf ein Leben in Sicherheit geschenkt hast.
