On May 10, 2022, a three-colored, long-haired cat with one blue eye arrived at the shelter from a large colony of over 30 cats. According to the foster parent, she was only about two years old. Matilda and her foster siblings can meet here: Matilda is a very talkative and friendly kitten who arrived at the safe house on May 18. If our volunteer had not been at the location at that time, Matilda's story would have had a very sad ending. Matilda did not escape from the foster parent's home or crawl through any narrow spaces. The siblings were dirty and messy as if they had just come out of the foster parent's home and we only cleaned and dried them. It was difficult to save one of the kittens, but our shocked volunteer gave a heart massage to the other, much larger and stronger-looking kitten. Although there was little hope for survival, it was a true fighter. The other kitten, however, gave up. Matilda and her two surviving foster kittens were taken into a foster home, where she now waits for the kittens' adoption, hoping to find her own family and start her own journey home. After a difficult life in the colony, she has become a homebody, spayed, and vaccinated. She has also received treatment for parasites. Matilda goes to a home with a contract and a breeding agreement. 10.05.2022 koos kaaslastega suurest, 30+ pealisest, kolooniast turvakodusse jõudnud pikakarvaline kolmevärviline vigase silmaga tiine emane kassike, toitja sõnul oli tal vanust vaid 2 aastat. Matilda ja ta kaaslaste looga saab tutvuda siin: Väga jutukas ja sõbralik kassike poegis turvakodus 18. mail ja kui meie vabatahtlik ei oleks tol hetkel koha peal viibinud, oleks Matilda pisipere lugu saanud väga kurva lõpu. Matilda ei vabastanud ise poegi lootekottidest ega närinud läbi ka nabanööre. Pojukesed olid pesas nii nagu nad just emaüsast olid väljunud ja emme puhastas ja pesi vaid ennast. Ühte poega elule turgutada ei õnnestunud, teisele pealtnäha mittehingavale pojale tegi meie šokis vabatahtlik südamemassaaži ja kuigi pisil oli ellujäämise lootust vähe, oli tegu tõelise võitlejaga. Alla andis hoopis teine, palju suurema ja tugevamana tundunud pojuke. Matilda koos oma kahe ellujäänud pisipojaga kolis hoiukodusse, kus ootab nüüd poegade kojusaatmist, et siis ise samuti endale õige pere leida ja kodutee käppade alla võtta.
