At not even one year old, she moved with her then three-week-old kittens to our foster home. Despite her young age, she raised her little ones wonderfully and caringly. Now her children are old enough - and a new chapter should begin for Matilda as well.The beautiful delicate cat lady with her semi-long, fluffy fur and impressively bushy tail is a rather quiet representative. Matilda is cautious and reserved and needs some time to gain trust - both towards humans and towards other cats. On her foster home, she has already made great progress. She now lets herself be stroked more and more often, most of all on the head and in the front area of her body. Behind her cautious nature, there is also a curious and playful young cat. She especially likes balls. And when she really gets into playing, she comments on it with her own funny sounds.Matilda is very social with other cats and not at all dominant. On the contrary: even when the more confident cats on her foster home tease her, she hardly ever fights back. That's why we are looking for a friendly, social and not dominant female cat or a corresponding tomcat for her to orientate herself towards. It is also conceivable that Matilda moves to her new home together with another suitable female cat from one of our foster homes. We would of course look individually at which combination harmonizes. We do not want to mediate Matilda in single housing. We are looking for patient and empathetic people for Matilda, who give her the time she needs and are happy about every small sign of trust. Her new home should be an apartment, preferably with a secured balcony.After her much too early start into adulthood and the loving upbringing of her kittens, Matilda now deserves above all one thing: a home where she can still be carefree young. Mit nicht einmal einem Jahr zog sie gemeinsam mit ihren damals gerade drei Wochen alten Kitten auf unsere Pflegestelle. Trotz ihres jungen Alters hat sie ihre Kleinen ganz wunderbar und fürsorglich großgezogen. Nun sind ihre Kinder groß genug – und auch für Matilda soll ein neues Kapitel beginnen.Die wunderschöne zarte Katzendame mit ihrem halblangen, flauschigen Fell und dem beeindruckend buschigen Schwanz ist eine eher leise Vertreterin. Matilda ist vorsichtig und zurückhaltend und braucht etwas Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen – sowohl gegenüber Menschen als auch gegenüber anderen Katzen.Auf ihrer Pflegestelle hat sie bereits tolle Fortschritte gemacht. Inzwischen lässt sie sich immer häufiger gerne streicheln, am liebsten am Kopf und im vorderen Bereich ihres Körpers. Hinter ihrer vorsichtigen Art steckt außerdem eine neugierige und verspielte junge Katze. Besonders Bällchen haben es ihr angetan. Und wenn sie so richtig ins Spielen kommt, kommentiert sie das mit ihren ganz eigenen lustigen Geräuschen.Mit anderen Katzen ist Matilda ausgesprochen sozial und überhaupt nicht dominant. Eher im Gegenteil: Selbst wenn die selbstbewussteren Kater auf ihrer Pflegestelle sie ärgern, setzt sie sich kaum zur Wehr. Deshalb wünschen wir uns für sie eine freundliche, soziale und nicht dominante Katzengefährtin oder einen entsprechenden Kater, an der oder dem sie sich orientieren kann. Denkbar wäre auch, dass Matilda gemeinsam mit einer anderen passenden Katzenmama von einer unserer Pflegestellen in ihr neues Zuhause zieht. Welche Kombination harmoniert, würden wir natürlich individuell schauen. In Einzelhaltung möchten wir Matilda nicht vermitteln. Für Matilda suchen wir geduldige und einfühlsame Menschen, die ihr die Zeit lassen, die sie braucht, und sich über jeden kleinen Vertrauensbeweis freuen. Ihr neues Zuhause sollte eine Wohnung, möglichst mit gesichertem Balkon, sein.Nach ihrem viel zu frühen Start ins Erwachsenenleben und der liebevollen Aufzucht ihrer Kitten hat Matilda nun vor allem eines verdient: ein Zuhause, in dem sie selbst noch einmal unbeschwert jung sein darf.
