Strangers are not immediately to his liking, and he doesn’t need a visit in his future home either – Mats values his peace and trustful people he can rely on. Once he has someone in his heart, he shows affection and clinginess. Mats is looking for experienced, confident people who can give him clear guidance and take on the responsibility. He does not want to have to take care of everything himself, but he needs someone who can provide him with a sense of security and handle him consistently but calmly. Then he shows his best side – loyal, cuddly, and full of joy. A quiet, structured environment would be ideal for him. Children and cats should not live in his new home, as he cannot handle too much chaos. Er ist freundlich, verschmust und verfressen, zeigt aber auch deutlich, wenn ihm etwas zu viel wird – denn bedrängt werden möchte Mats nicht. Fremde Menschen sind ihm zunächst nicht geheuer, und Besuch braucht er in seinem zukünftigen Zuhause eigentlich auch nicht – Mats schätzt seine Ruhe und feste Bezugspersonen, denen er vertraut. Sobald er jemanden ins Herz geschlossen hat, zeigt er sich liebevoll und anhänglich. Mats sucht erfahrene, souveräne Menschen, die ihm klare Führung geben und ihm die Verantwortung abnehmen. Er möchte sich nicht um alles selbst kümmern müssen, sondern braucht jemanden, der ihm Sicherheit vermittelt und konsequent, aber ruhig mit ihm umgeht.
