Schon auf den ersten Blick fällt Matty mit seinen warmen, hellbraunen Öhrchen auf, die von einem dunklen Rand eingerahmt werden. Sie passen perfekt zu seinem sanften Wesen. Seine neugierigen, sanften Augen blicken aufmerksam in die Welt und spiegeln seine beobachtende Art wider. Denn manchmal ist Matty lieber still und beobachtet seine Umgebung, als auf jemanden zuzugehen und Aufmerksamkeit einzufordern. Dass Matty heute in Sicherheit aufwachsen darf, ist alles andere als selbstverständlich. Gemeinsam mit seinen sechs Geschwistern wurde er in einer Plastiktüte am Flussufer gefunden. Sieben kleine Welpen mussten dort um ihr junges Leben kämpfen. Kaum auszumalen, wie lange sie sich bereits in der Tüte befanden und warum man ihnen so etwas angetan hat. Mit gerade einmal zwei Monaten liegt sein ganzes Leben noch vor ihm, und wir wünschen uns von Herzen, dass seine schwere Vergangenheit schon bald nur noch eine ferne Erinnerung ist. Für Matty erhoffen wir uns eine liebevolle Familie oder eine verständnisvolle Pflegefamilie, der bewusst ist, dass das Leben in einem eigenen Zuhause für ihn noch ziemlich fremd ist. Stubenreinheit, das Hunde-ABC, Alltagsgeräusche, Ruhephasen und all die Dinge, die für uns selbstverständlich sind, darf der kleine Kerl erst noch kennenlernen. Ohne seine Geschwister braucht Matty Menschen, die ihm Sicherheit, Geborgenheit, Liebe und eine einfühlsame Begleitung schenken. Auch das Alleinbleiben kennt er bisher nicht und muss Schritt für Schritt lernen, dass er keine Angst haben muss und seine Menschen immer wieder zu ihm zurückkehren. Der Besuch einer positiv arbeitenden Welpen- beziehungsweise Hundeschule wäre dabei eine wertvolle Unterstützung – nicht nur für Matty, sondern auch für seine Menschen. Ein Welpe bedeutet Arbeit, Verantwortung, Geduld und manchmal auch schlaflose Nächte, aber genauso bedeutet er pures Glück, Freude und ganz viel Liebe. Nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle und der Übernahme einer Schutzgebühr reist Matty gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt, entfloht und mit einem EU-Heimtierausweis in sein neues Zuhause. Vielen Dank Sarah!
