Nederland, 26 februari 2026 Voor de knappe MATTY, voorheen Clyde gaan we op zoek naar een nieuw warm thuis Vanwege gedeeltelijke verhuizing naar het buitenland van zijn baasjes zijn we op zoek naar een oplossing voor Matty, nu goed 6. 5 jaar oud. Gedeeltelijk emigreren naar het buitenland en weer terug naar hier, dus op en neer reizen, is voor Matty niet te doen. Deze lieverd gaat dat niet begrijpen en heeft een stabiel vast thuis nodig. Matty woont in een huis met 3 volwassenen, 4 honden en 2 katten. Matty heeft hier helemaal zijn eigen plek gevonden. Het manneke lijkt groot op de foto’s, maar hij is maar 42cm schofthoogte en weegt maar 13 kilo dus een leuke kleinere middelmaat Matty is een superbrave maar ietwat onzekere hond die heel veel liefde in zich heeft. Hij heeft ruimte en tijd nodig om aan een nieuwe situatie te wennen, dan is het een wereldhond Hij is goed in staat om zelf te kiezen wanneer hij er aan toe is om contact te maken. Hij doet dat op zijn eigen tempo en daarin moet je hem dan ook respecteren. Zijn taal is duidelijk als je maar snapt hoe het voor hem werkt. Matty kan goed met andere honden, hij woont nu in een roedel met 3 andere honden, allemaal teefjes. Het gezin heeft ook opvang gedaan thuis en daar heeft Matty ook verschillende reutjes meegemaakt. Hij is gewend aan verschillende roedel samenstellingen dus dat kan hij heel goed! Ook katten is hij gewend. Matty heeft moeite met veranderingen, een verhuizing is dat zeker vandaar dat hij de tijd nodig heeft om te wennen. Als hij de tijd krijgt om te wennen vind hij zijn weg zeker in een nieuwe roedel. Matty heeft altijd in een roedel gewoond dus we weten niet of hij het alleen in een woonsituatie makkelijk heeft. Dus ik zoek echt een plekje met nog een ander stabiel hondenvriendje erbij. Grotere kinderen zijn in principe geen probleem mits ze hem zelf laten komen, maar een druk gezin met veel aanloop is niks voor Matty. Dus ik zoek liever een gezin waar niet al teveel prikkels zijn. Denk je oh die Matty dat is een hond die ik begrijp? En heb je al een stabiel hondenvriendje voor hem? Heb je het geduld en de tijd hem alle kans te geven te wennen en zich thuis te laten voelen?
