Adopt Mäusefänger Cassius sucht ein schön großen Hof

European Shorthair · Male · Kitten

Cassius has been with us at the animal shelter since April 2026. Instead of cuddling on the sofa, I have other talents; I am attentive, smart, and a motivated mouse catcher. That's why I'm looking for an employer with a beautiful large yard in a rural setting. There, I can do what I do best: take care of mouse control and lead my own little cat life. Important to know: A mouse catcher is not just a "wild" cat. Even though I can be moody sometimes, I still need people who will take care of me, just from a bit of a distance. At first, I would like to live in a secure barn so I can learn that you are my new home. Then I can go outside and do my job! Hehehe… I get along well with other cats. I find four-legged company a bit more sympathetic, sorryyy. Maybe there's already a nice cat team out there waiting for me? So, I'm looking for people who understand that not every cat wants to cuddle. A full food bowl, a dry sleeping spot, lots of mice, and low expectations for cuddles—that would be perfect!!

Frequently asked

Adopting Mäusefänger Cassius sucht ein schön großen Hof, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mäusefänger Cassius sucht ein schön großen Hof?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Oldenburg handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mäusefänger Cassius sucht ein schön großen Hof on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mäusefänger Cassius sucht ein schön großen Hof if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Oldenburg will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Mäusefänger Cassius sucht ein schön großen Hof already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mäusefänger Cassius sucht ein schön großen Hof isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Oldenburg early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mäusefänger Cassius sucht ein schön großen Hof and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
