Max was left at the shelter by his owner who immigrated and asked for temporary help until she organized her new life abroad. She promised to come back for Max very soon. A month, 2 months, 10 months passed and the conversation was always the same... she still couldn't take him back. The situation couldn't be maintained. It wasn't fair to the animal. So the former owner was confronted and admitted she couldn't have the animal back. She gave him up for adoption. Max had been waiting for almost a year for the owner who didn't keep her promise! It's always the same. We're tired of trusting people. Animals always end up getting hurt. Max is a fantastic dog, full of qualities: besides being very beautiful, he's a very gentle dog. He loves human company. He's obedient. He sits on command. He behaves beautifully on leash walks. He has a lot of strength. He could make us fly if he wanted to, but he doesn't pull. We can take objects away from him, he doesn't say anything. He loves food, so he learns everything we want with positive reinforcement.

O Max foi deixado no abrigo pela dona que imigrou e pediu ajuda ponctual até ela organizar a sua nova vida no estrangeiro. Prometeu que viria buscar o Max muito em breve. Um mês, 2 meses, 10 meses passaram e a conversa era sempre a mesma...ainda não o consegue receber. A situação não podia manter-se. Não era justo para o animal. Assim a ex dona foi confrontada e admituiu não poder ter o animal de volta. Cedeu-o para adoção. O Max esteve quase um ano à espera da dona que não cumpriu com o que prometeu! Sempre a mesma coisa. Estamos cansados de confiar nas pessoas. Os animais saem sempre prejudicados. O Max é um cão fantástico, cheio de qualidades: além de lindíssimo, é um cão muito meigo. Adora companhia humana. É obediente. Senta-se sob comando. Porta-se lindamente nos passeios de trela. Tem muita força. Poderia fazer-nos voar se quisesse, mas não puxa. Podemos tirar-lhe objetos, ele não diz nada. Adora comida, pelo que aprende tudo o que quisermos com reforço positivo.
