May wears collar number 289 & is a tabby & white cat. She came into the sanctuary in January 2026 & we think she was born sometime in 2024. May has been spayed but sadly isn’t a very friendly girl, but in time in a forever home environment this may change in time.

May is a young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Malcolm Cat in Cyprus.
An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.
Cypriot rescues focus heavily on cross-border placements (the island has more strays than local adopters). Animals are fully vetted before flying. The adopter pays the transport, while the shelter coordinates vaccinations, chipping, and the passport.
