*Maya is in heat, and we can’t place her for adoption until she’s finished her cycle and we’re able to spay her. Therefore, we’re pausing her adoption process for a short period. This little puppy was abandoned along with Romeo and Cuchumi (who has already been adopted) because she was born into an unwanted litter. She’s small in size and won’t grow any larger—she currently weighs just 6 kilos. At first, she’s shy around people, but once she warms up, she becomes affectionate, sweet, and cheerful. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs; she’d be perfectly happy living alongside other dogs in the same home, or as the only dog in the household. She can live in an apartment or in a home with outdoor space, but preferably in a quiet area outside the city. She’s active because she’s very young, though not overly so—she has her moments for playing and her moments for relaxing. She needs an opportunity, she needs a forever home.
