Maya is a young, loving female cat who urgently needs a new home. Not because her family doesn't love her, but because she can no longer find peace there. There is a tomcat in the household, which Maya is very afraid of and who unfortunately attacks her repeatedly. Now she hardly dares to go into the house, and although it's hard for her family, they have decided that Maya deserves a home where she can live without fear and be the princess she is. Maya is a gentle soul who loves nature and also enjoys cuddle time with her people. She doesn't need expensive toys - a wool ball, a string or a rustling leaf is completely enough for her to be happy. She bonds closely with her primary caregiver and shows her affection in her own unique way: sometimes she brings small "gifts" from nature. She eats both dry and wet food and reliably uses the cat litter. If something doesn't suit her, she clearly shows it through her body language and a growl - she communicates clearly without being unfair. In her current environment, Maya is known and popular among schoolchildren. She likes to walk around their legs and seeks closeness, but does not allow herself to be lifted or held. She decides for herself how much contact she wants. For Maya, we wish for a home without other cats, where she can feel safe and receive the full attention she so greatly deserves. As she is a purebred free-roamer, this should also be possible in her future home. Could Maya be the cat that enriches your home in the future?

Maya ist eine junge, liebe Katzendame, die dringend ein neues Zuhause sucht. Nicht, weil ihre Familie sie nicht liebt, sondern weil sie dort nicht mehr zur Ruhe kommt. Im Haushalt lebt ein Kater, vor dem Maya große Angst hat und der sie leider immer wieder angreift. Mittlerweile traut sie sich kaum noch ins Haus, und so schwer es ihrer Familie fällt, haben sie entschieden, dass Maya ein Zuhause verdient, in dem sie ohne Angst leben kann und die Prinzessin sein darf. Maya ist eine sanfte Seele, die die Natur liebt und genauso gern Schmusestunden mit ihren Menschen genießt. Sie braucht kein teures Spielzeug – ein Wollknäuel, eine Schnur oder ein raschelndes Blatt reichen ihr völlig, um glücklich zu sein. Sie bindet sich eng an ihre Bezugsperson und zeigt ihre Zuneigung auf ihre ganz eigene Art: Manchmal bringt sie kleine „Geschenke“ aus der Natur mit. Sie frisst sowohl Trocken- als auch Nassfutter und nutzt zuverlässig das Katzenklo. Wenn ihr etwas nicht gefällt, zeigt sie das klar durch ihre Körperhaltung und ein Knurren – sie kommuniziert deutlich, ohne unfair zu sein. In ihrer aktuellen Umgebung ist Maya bei den Schulkindern bekannt und beliebt. Sie streicht ihnen gern um die Beine und sucht Nähe, lässt sich aber nicht hochheben oder festhalten. Sie entscheidet selbst, wie viel Kontakt sie möchte. Für Maya wünschen wir uns ein Zuhause ohne andere Katzen, in dem sie sich sicher fühlen kann und die volle Aufmerksamkeit bekommt, die sie so sehr verdient. Da sie eine Vollblutfreigängerin ist, sollte das auch in ihrem zukünftigen Zuhause möglich sein. Könnte Maya die Katze sein, die dein Zuhause in Zukunft bereichert?
