Meet Maya! We gave her this name, we don't know what she was called before. Her story is now common, but no less tragic. The first owner of Maya died at the beginning of the war and was taken in by a neighbor who already had many stray kittens. Later, the village was completely evacuated, the neighbor's house, like many others in the village, was destroyed. Thus, Maya and other rescued kittens ended up under our care. Now the cat needs long, painful, and expensive treatment. First, it's a severe inflammation in the mouth and a terrible condition of the teeth, which need to be removed. Right now, the cat has pain when eating and has started losing weight. Second, it's sick paws, the girl has pain when walking, it hurts even when you just touch her paws. We don't know exactly how to treat it yet, but certainly, if nothing is done, the condition will get worse. Estimated treatment cost 13,000 UAH. Updated Information as of February 2026. After completing treatment, Maya returned to the animal shelter, after some time, she showed symptoms of a stomach disease, after a doctor's examination and tests, it was found: gastroenterocolitis and triaditis. Знайомтесь це- Мая! Таке ім'я дали їй ми, як її звали до цього нам не відомо. Історія її в наш час уже банальна, але від того не менш трагічна. Перший господар Маї помер на початку війни і її забрала до себе сусідка у якої вже було багато підібраних котиків. Згодом село було повністю євакуйоване, дім сусідки, як і багато інших в тому селі зруйновано. Так Мая і інші врятовані котики опинилися під нашою опікою. Зараз киця потребує тривале, болісне і дороговартісне лікування. Перше- це страшне запалення в ротовій порожнині і жахливий стан зубів, які необхідно видаляти. На разі кішці боляче їсти і вона почала втрачати вагу. Дгуге- це хворі лапки, дівчинці боляче ходити, їй боляче навіть коли ти просто торкаєшся лапок. Як саме це лікувати ми поки не знаєм, але однозначно якщо нічого не робити стан буде погіршуватись. Орієнтовна вартість лікування 13 000 грн. Оновлена Іноформація станом на Лютий 2026р. Після завершення лікування Мая повернулась до притулку, через деякий час, у неї виявили симптоми захворювання шлунку, після огляду у лікаря та проведених аналізів було виявлено: гастроентероколіт та триадіт.
