Maybelline arrived very thin and, although we are giving her a more caloric food, she is having a hard time gaining weight due to the stress she has here. She gets very nervous with other dogs which is causing her to have a hard time at the shelter, she needs a family that knows how to channel the energy she has and help her with her socialization problems. When we go for a walk with her and go through the door of the center she looks like another dog, she relaxes, starts sniffing and looking for our contact; she is very affectionate, she loves to be cuddled and her belly scratched. As soon as she relaxes, she doesn't separate from us: she is a dog love. Like all of her breed she has a high energy level that you can channel with games to exercise her mind. They are very intelligent dogs that learn quickly so they need owners willing to offer them stimuli.
