Mázlista

Vizsla · Male · Senior · 13 years

Entered Szergény: January 20, 2018. Entered Noé Animal Shelter: March 16, 2018. Entered Szergény: April 9, 2021. Background: Mázlista also came to our Szergény shelter from the Papai municipal pound. A wonderful, lively German Shepherd-type male dog, his initial shyness soon disappeared. He loves freedom, so he is prone to escape. After being spayed, his head became twisted, but the examination did not show any abnormalities and fortunately the "strange" head position gradually disappeared. Unfortunately, Mázlista has already gone through an unsuccessful adoption. He did not have a prepared family for his temperament, so he returned to our care. Attached and obedient, he does not like excessive physical control. Vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, available for adoption. Attention: The dog is located at the Szergény branch of the Noé Animal Shelter. You can inquire about him via email.

Csodálatos, életvidám német vizsla jellegű kan kutyus, kezdeti félénksége hamar oldódott. Imádja a szabadságot, ezért szökésre hajlamos. További képek ITT A Tetszik gomb eléréséhez sütik engedélyezése szükséges. apiKey: 'f94a516b15dff4516ffa78eb8ba036f3076dfc68',

About Mázlista

What life with Mázlista looks like

Mázlista is a small senior vizsla dog waiting at Noé Állatotthon in Budapest.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

Note from the shelter: Escape prone, dislikes excessive physical control, had previous failed adoption

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Mázlista, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mázlista?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Noé Állatotthon handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mázlista on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mázlista if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Noé Állatotthon will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Mázlista already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mázlista isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Noé Állatotthon early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mázlista and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
