MELOCOTÓN

Male · Senior · 11 years

We received a notice that a pony had entered the Seville dog pound, though it surprised us; we later learned that unfortunately, this is not an uncommon case. Equines also end up with poor living conditions in the municipal dog pound, and if it’s a bad place for dogs, it’s even worse for them. We got to work and managed to get it out of there, and now it lives in our animal shelter, where it’s very happy and teaching us how to become a pony rescue association as well. He’s our spoiled darling, so he won’t be up for adoption unless it’s to live in better conditions than he already has. Melocontón is not a work tool, not a toy, but a living being that needs love and is capable of giving it. If you believe there’s room in your life for him, don’t hesitate to write us.

About MELOCOTÓN

What life with MELOCOTÓN looks like

MELOCOTÓN is a small senior animal waiting at Arca de Noé in Spain.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows MELOCOTÓN far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting MELOCOTÓN, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about MELOCOTÓN?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Arca de Noé handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw MELOCOTÓN on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt MELOCOTÓN if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Arca de Noé will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is MELOCOTÓN already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if MELOCOTÓN isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Arca de Noé early rather than rehoming privately; they know MELOCOTÓN and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
