A life of suffering and survival that has deeply marked her body and her heart. When we found her, Mémé was in critical condition. Her hindquarters were paralyzed, and she could barely move. Yet, against all odds, thanks to the safety, care, and love she received at the sanctuary, she accomplished the unthinkable. Day after day, she learned to get up again, to walk, and then to trot. Today, Mémé frolics about, carried by an utterly moving life force. Having been at the sanctuary for a year and a half, Mémé has watched many companions join their families, while she still quietly waits for her turn. At first, Mémé is a fearful dog, shaped by her past. She needs time to build trust. But once she feels safe, she reveals a touching, sensitive, and deeply endearing personality, with even a hint of mischief that makes her one of a kind. She gets along well with dogs and cats, which are part of her sense of balance. Given her age and sensitivity, a calm environment without farm animals and without children would be best. Mémé is looking for a gentle, patient, and caring family, ready to give her what she has never known: a peaceful retirement, a stable home, and the love she deserves after a lifetime of survival. Mémé – La résilience incarnée, en quête d’une douce retraite Mémé est une chienne exceptionnelle, une véritable battante qui a survécu seule pendant près de dix années dans la rue. Une vie de souffrance et de survie qui a profondément marqué son corps et son cœur. Lorsque nous l’avons retrouvée, Mémé était dans un état critique. Son train arrière était paralysé, et elle pouvait à peine se déplacer. Pourtant, contre toute attente, grâce à la sécurité, aux soins et à l’amour reçus au sanctuaire, elle a accompli l’impensable. Jour après jour, elle a recommencé à se lever, à marcher, puis à trotter. Aujourd’hui, Mémé gambade, portée par une force de vie absolument bouleversante. Présente au sanctuaire depuis un an et demi, Mémé a vu de nombreux compagnons rejoindre leur famille, tandis qu’elle attend toujours, discrètement, son tour. Mémé est une chienne craintive au premier abord, marquée par son passé. Elle a besoin de temps pour accorder sa confiance. Mais lorsqu’elle se sent en sécurité, elle laisse apparaître une personnalité touchante, sensible, et profondément attachante, avec même un petit brin de malice qui la rend unique. Elle s’entend bien avec les chiens et les chats, qui font partie de son équilibre. En raison de son âge et de sa sensibilité, un environnement calme, sans animaux de la ferme, et sans enfants sera préférable.
