His story: Mephisto is an approximately four-year-old tomcat who currently lives in a foster home and is now ready to move into his permanent home. He is an exceptionally gentle and people-oriented tomcat who greatly enjoys the company of his trusted people. Cuddles, relaxing together on the sofa, and affectionate attention mean everything to him. Mephisto actively seeks contact with humans and clearly shows how much he longs for attention and security. He was found injured on the streets of Turda near Cluj. He received veterinary care, was fully treated, and was then neutered. The hard times are now behind him, and he has recovered well. We wish for him a home where he can experience safety and love. He gets along well with other cats and even dogs do not pose a problem for him. Therefore, he should be placed in a household with already existing animal roommates. If no cat currently lives in the household, Mephisto would gladly bring a cat companion or linie. However, he should not be rehomed into an unsupervised outdoor environment. A home suitable for apartment living, preferably with a secured balcony or ample space for observation and relaxation, would be perfect for him. During his travel arrangements, like all our cats and tomcats, Mephisto is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. He has already tested negative for FIV and FeLV and carries an EU pet passport as well.

Seine Geschichte: Mephisto ist ein etwa vier Jahre alter Kater, der derzeit bei einer Pflegestelle lebt und nun bereit ist, in sein endgültiges Zuhause umzuziehen. Er ist ein ausgesprochen sanfter und menschenbezogener Kater, der die Nähe zu seinen Bezugspersonen sehr genießt. Streicheleinheiten, gemeinsames Entspannen auf dem Sofa und liebevolle Zuwendung bedeuten ihm alles. Mephisto sucht aktiv den Kontakt zum Menschen und zeigt deutlich, wie sehr er sich nach Aufmerksamkeit und Geborgenheit sehnt. Gefunden wurde er verletzt auf den Straßen von Turda nahe Cluj. Er wurde tierärztlich versorgt, vollständig behandelt und im Anschluss kastriert. Die schwere Zeit liegt nun hinter ihm, und er hat sich gut erholt. Umso mehr wünschen wir uns für ihn ein Zuhause, in dem er Sicherheit und Liebe erfahren darf. Mit anderen Katzen versteht sich Mephisto gut, und auch Hunde stellen für ihn kein Problem dar. Er sollte daher unbedingt in einen Haushalt mit bereits vorhandenen tierischen Mitbewohnern ziehen. Sollte bisher noch keine Katze im Haushalt leben, bringt Mephisto gerne einen Katzenkumpel oder Kumpeline mit. Wichtig ist jedoch, dass er nicht in ungesicherten Freigang vermittelt wird. Ein Zuhause in Wohnungshaltung, gerne auch mit gesichertem Balkon oder ausreichend Platz zum Beobachten und Entspannen, wäre für ihn perfekt. Bei seiner Ausreise ist Mephisto, wie all unsere Katzen und Kater, kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Auf FIV und FeLV wurde er bereits negativ getestet und einen EU-Heimtierausweis packt er ebenfalls ins Köfferchen.
