Merle, Hope & Rocko stammen aus einem Ups-Wurf in einem kleinen Dorf. Eine lokale Tierschützerin war auf die Welpen aufmerksam geworden & bat die Besitzerin die Welpen vermitteln und im Zuge dessen die Elterntiere (Mama ist ein Spitze, der Papa ein Pudel-Terrier-Mix) durch unsere Kastrationskampagne kastrieren zu lassen. So kame die drei Mischlingswelpen in unsere Obhut & sind nun nach einigen Wochen des Aufpäppelns bereit für ihr eigenes für-immer-Zuhause. Von den Dreien ist Merle die Ruhigste. Natürlich ist sie welpentypisch trotzdem verspielt und tobt gern mit ihren Geschwistern durch den Garten. Sie erkundet dabei neugierig ihre Umwelt und entdeckt die Welt im sicheren Umfeld unserer Spitzrettung. Im neuen Zuhause muss sie dann die restliche Welt kennenlernen: ihre neuen Besitzer sollten gewillt sein ihr das Hunde 1×1 Schritt für Schritt beizubringen. Wer einen Welpen oder Junghund adoptiert benötigt sowohl finanzielle, als auch zeitliche Ressourcen sowie mentale Kapazitäten! So süß wie die kleinen Wirbelwinde sind, so herausfordernd kann diese Zeit auch sein. Ihre Menschen müssen also anpassungsfähig und geduldig sein. Der Besuch einer Hundeschule ist definitiv empfehlenswert. Mit anderen Hunden kommt sie prima zurecht, weshalb sie durchaus als Zweithund geeignet wäre. Allerdings wird sie nicht in einen Haushalt mit intaktem Rüden vermittelt, da sie selbst nicht kastriert ist. Kinder sollten mind. 10 Jahre alt sein und Hundeerfahrung mitbringen. Merle ist ein echter Rohdiamant, die noch viel lernen muss. Bei den richtigen Menschen, die gewillt sind, die junge Mischlingshündin konsequent zu erziehen, hat sie aber die besten Voraussetzungen eine ganz wundervolle Begleiterin zu werden.
