Merlot is a unique cat with a delicate, sensitive character. At first he can be shy and need time to feel safe in a new place. He is not the type of cat that jumps on his knees right away — but once he trusts a man and finds that he is safe, he can open himself up beautifully and show his tender, devoted nature. He's a peace lover. It is best found in a quiet house, where it can sleep lazyly, observe the surroundings and walk in its cat paths. His relationship with the guardian is built gradually, but this is the uniqueness of his relationship – Merlot's trust is a real gift. We're looking for a patient, understanding guardian to give him space and time to adapt. In the right conditions, Merlot will surely repay his calm presence and loyalty. He can live with other cats – he gets along well with them. He uses the litter box as a model and will find himself in house rules.

Merlot to wyjątkowy kot o delikatnym, wrażliwym charakterze. Na początku bywa nieśmiały i potrzebuje czasu, aby poczuć się bezpiecznie w nowym miejscu. Nie jest typem kota, który od razu wskakuje na kolana — ale gdy już zaufa człowiekowi i przekona się, że nic mu nie grozi, potrafi pięknie się otworzyć i pokazać swoją czułą, oddaną naturę. To miłośnik spokoju. Najlepiej odnajduje się w cichym domu, gdzie może leniwie leżakować, obserwować otoczenie i spokojnie przechadzać się po swoich kocich ścieżkach. Jego relacja z opiekunem buduje się stopniowo, ale właśnie w tym tkwi jej wyjątkowość – zaufanie Merlota to prawdziwy dar. Szukamy dla niego cierpliwego, wyrozumiałego opiekuna, który da mu przestrzeń i czas na adaptację. W odpowiednich warunkach Merlot z pewnością odwdzięczy się spokojną obecnością i lojalnością. Może zamieszkać z innymi kotami – dobrze się z nimi dogaduje. Wzorowo korzysta z kuwety i bez problemu odnajdzie się w domowych zasadach.
