Mia comes originally from Romania, where she was abandoned at just a few weeks old. She lived with her sister in a Romanian animal shelter until recently; we were asked to find a family for them. We brought her to Germany to live with a foster family, where she lives with 4 husky girls. Mia is an extremely affectionate lap cat who loves to cuddle up next to her foster owner at night and is always available for pets during the day. She quickly got along with the pack; feeding time is stress-free. She enjoys having her head stroked while eating and being fed from the bowl. Initially, she was a bit aloof around treats when interacting with others, but this has relaxed well. It seems she inherited some livestock guardian genes, so the new home should be familiar with livestock guardian mixes. She likes to run up to the fence and bark briefly when someone passes by outside. Visitors are greeted warmly and immediately begged for pets. Visiting with a dog is no problem either. Outdoors, she walks well on a leash, doesn't get startled by cars or motorcycles, and ignores barking behind fences or sniffs them out of curiosity. We wish Mia a dog-experienced, loving home that is familiar with livestock guardian dogs and has plenty of time, patience, and empathy to offer.

Mia kommt ursprünglich aus Rumänien, wo sie mit wenigen Wochen ausgesetzt wurde. Sie lebte bis vor kurzem mit ihrer Schwester im rumänischen Tierheim, wir wurden gebeten, eine Familie für sie zu finden. Wir haben sie nach Deutschland auf eine Pflegestelle geholt, wo sie mit 4 Husky-Mädels zusammenlebt. Mia ist eine absolut verschmuste Kuschelmaus, die gerne die ganze Nacht bei ihrem Pflegeherrchen liegt und auch tagsüber immer für eine Streicheleinheit zu haben ist. Sie hat sich auf Anhieb mit dem Rudel verstanden, eine gemeinsame Fütterung ist stressfrei möglich. Sie lässt sich beim Füttern am Kopf streicheln und in den Napf fassen. Anfangs war sie bei Leckerlies etwas distanzlos gegenüber den anderen, das hat sich aber gut entspannt. Sie hat wohl ein paar Herdenschutz-Gene abbekommen, deshalb sollte sich das neue Zuhause mit Herdenschutz-Mischlingen auskennen. Gerne läuft sie zum Zaun und meldet kurz, wenn draußen jemand vorbeikommt. Besuch wird freundlich begrüßt und sofort zu Streicheleinheiten genötigt. Besuch mit Hund ist auch kein Problem. Draußen läuft sie gut an der Leine, erschrickt nicht bei Autos oder Motorrädern und beachtet Kläffer hinter Gartenzäunen entweder gar nicht oder beschnüffelt sie neugierig.
